Run don’t walk to see “The Cross”!
Take your Friends to see “The Cross”! Jesus’ name is lifted high with this true story!
Last Wednesday Denny and I had the privilege of attending the Premiere of the movie “The Cross”. It opened in Theaters nation wide on Friday. For me it was especially sweet because I was able to re-unite with an old friend. I was one of Arthur Blessitt’s original Jesus Freaks in the early 70′s, enthusiastically marching down Van Nuys Blvd. up to Sunset Blvd. shouting “give me a J” and sticking his “reds” as he calls them or stickers with scripture on them on any flat surface we could find.
“The Cross” Producers Matt and Laurie Crouch did a fantastic job on this documentary telling the story of Arthur’s unbelievable journey. You will laugh, cry and be astounded that this faithful servant is still alive to tell his story. It brought back so many memories for me personally i.e. almost getting suspended from Cleveland High School for defaming school property with the “reds”…. oops, I was such a rebel
Even remembering that, as a teenager, I had dated Arthur’s worship leader “Justin Time”, not a joke that is his real name!

Good News! We will be awarding Arthur, his wife and Movie Producers Matt and Laurie Crouch at this years WELL DONE Awards.
