Go to a rest home and spend a few hours chatting with the elderly. You will encourage them so much and they may teach you something too!
Visit someone in Prison.
Get certified to help be a volunteer at a Hospital.
Teach Sunday School.
Serve with the Boys and Girls club of America. Be a Mentor.
Go shopping for some one who cannot drive any more.
Take a walk or jog through your neighborhood and pray for each neighbor. You’ll get healthy, thin and expand the Kingdom all at the same time.
Collect pictures for a friend and put them in an album.
Keep a piece of chalk with you and write a scripture or “Jesus loves you” in parking lots or on sidewalks. You’ll never know how many people you will encourage until you get to Heaven. Now that’s fun!
Pray for the President and those in authority over you.
Write a note to someone you think could use a bright spot in their day, or text message them.
Start a Bible Study with some Surfers.
Write someone who lost a child or a friend of yours years ago and tell them how much that person meant to you. Note: Leesa lost her teenage brother in 1966 and his friends stay in touch with her family still to this day. What a blessing it has been.
Video tape someone’s wedding who can’t afford a professional.
Or here is a good one: This will cost a little bit of money…Take pictures at a friends wedding, run them over to a one hour photo place and have pics for them when they leave the reception for their Honeymoon. Note: Make a copy for the Mother of the Bride.
